Graff’s Turf Farms believes in a strong Green Industry and supports that by being a member of these state, national and international organizations.

Graff's Turf Farms, and founders Randy & Betsy Graff, has been a TPI member since 1980. Randy was the association's Colorado State Representative from 1988 to 1992and served as chairman for the TPI Artificial Turf Task Force Committee. He was elected to the TPI Board of Trustees in 2002 and served as president of the international organization in 2008. At the 2007 TPI Annual Business Meeting, he also received the esteemed President's Leadership Award for demonstrating exemplary dedication and performance to the association. Only four other turf producers have been honored with the same award over the past 40 years.

Graff’s Turf has been a member of the Rocky Mountain Sod Growers Association (president 1989-1990), the Rocky Mountain Regional Turfgrass Association and the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado since 1980.

Since 1999, Graff's has been a member of the Golf Course Superintendents of America Association and the Colorado Sports Turf Managers Association.

In 1995, Randy was voted the Ernst & Young Rocky Mountain Entrepreneur of the Year. Graff's Turf Farms has been a member of Mountain States Better Business Bureau since that same year.

James Graff is following in his father's footsteps with active participation in the green industry's service organizations. He has been a member of the RMRTA Foundation Board, as well as a member of the RMSGA's marketing and PR committee.  James served as a director on the ALCC Foundation board and on the RMRTA board. He also assists in furthering the turfgrass industry as a career by dedicating time to The Lawn Institute's Educational scholarship committee. James was awarded the 2008 Colorado Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Small Business Administration. The City and County of Denver presented a “Civis Dignationis” to James, also in 2008.

Co-owner Marty Thiel was recently honored with the prestigious 2008 Turf Professional of the Year by RMRTA.
